Parents: Connect, dialogue, share, and support each other!
Hello
Greetings! My name is Holly Selden and I've just joined. I'm looking forward to connecting with other parents who have a child on the spectrum. My husband Ian and I have 3 children, Max, Vivian, and Stanley. The youngest, Stanley, has high-functioning autism. He's nine, and a sweetheart. We're new to Sonoma county and this "journey" of parenting a special needs child. Any advice or referrals would be greatly appreciated.

I just joined this site too. I'm the auntie of a bright 7 yr old boy who has pretty active adhd and I'm certain has Aspergers as well but somehow hasn't been diagnosed. He's getting re-tested soon. I'm hoping to encourage my brother and sister-in-law to join this site. I also think it would be nice to meet other people who have kids on the spectrum.
Where in the county do you live? I'm in Sebastopol and my nephew Aiden and his parents live in Camp Meeker.
