30 Members! Let's get started!

Hi to all of our members and happy holidays to all of you! We've got 30 members now who are all local folks with kids on the Autism Spectrum. I'm still convinced that we can utilize this forum to (a) get to know about each other and about each other's children, and (b) use this forum as a method of communicating through difficult times, to arrange playdates, get-togethers, barbecues, etc.

Perhaps we can use this discussion as a place to simply list the bare essentials about one another in order to better see who might be compatible playmates for playdates:

Don and Dawn Cobb, 12 year old daughter Madison diagnosed PDD NOS. Maddy loves playing with the several other friends on the spectrum she has. She's patient & kind, doesn't melt down during playtimes. She loves to sing, write songs, play on the keyboard, write books, video anyone and everything with her little Flip camera.
